Depart Singapore and travel to Malaysia this morning. After border formalities*, drive across the Johor-Singapore Causeway to the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Melaka, on the Malay Peninsula's southwest coast. Founded in the 1400s by a Sumatra prince, Melaka soon became one of the richest seaports in Southeast Asia. Upon arrival, have lunch at a local restaurant. Afterwards, check into your hotel. Afternoon is at leisure, or take part in the optional Melaka Trishaw Ride & River Cruise, where you will take a ride through the quaint streets of Melaka on a three-wheeled bike before embarking on a river cruise through the heart of the city

Drive through colonial George Town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the capital of Penang. Stop at Fort Cornwallis, the largest standing fort in Malaysia before a walking tour to St. George's Church, the Kuan Yin Temple, Hindu Temple and Kapitan Keling Mosque. Arrive in lively Little India to see the ornate Khoo Kongsi Clan House designed to capture the splendor of a Chinese Imperial Palace. The afternoon is at leisure, or participate in the optional Penang Hill with Habitat Nature Walk. Ascend Penang Hill for panoramic views of George Town, the capital of Penang from the summit.
